Where do you go when you’re an aspiring designer and want to break into the world of fashion? To the fashion capital of the world Paris, France, of course! Jenny L. spent her summer in city of lights experiencing first-hand the city’s world-renowned fashion culture.

During Jenny’s internship, the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) student got to live like a real Parisian and further her career in fashion. Read all about her experience as an international intern in Paris, France.

Every fashion student dreams of one day living and working in one of the world’s top fashion capitals. Living abroad is one of the most important things I have done to date, as you consider an Internship in Paris there are a few things you should know. Living in Paris taught me an incredible amount about myself, it helped open up the world to me. Spending any amount of time immersed completely into another culture can never be a bad thing. There are a few things I wish I had known before moving to Paris.

The City of Lights is an enchanting, beautiful place filled with endless opportunities for cultural immersion and internships for students and graduates. Paris is bursting with things to do with hundreds of museums, galleries, fine dining, and events, but for someone on a budget all of the attractions in Paris can really add up.The more popular attractions like going to the top the Eiffel Tower or visiting the Louvre are going to cost, but not everything in Paris comes at a premium price. Below are five places to go in Paris that won’t cost you a Euro!
