Bryanna W., a Junior from the University of Southern California, completed a fashion business internship in Milan this summer! Studying Business Administration, our GE Alumni Ambassador has always known she wants to end up in the fashion industry and used this summer as a stepping stone to her future plans - to own her own fashion company!
It's safe to say that everyone has a love/hate relationship with packing. My travel experience, and therefore packing experience have led to a streamlined process to help guide you through packing for your internship abroad! Packing means our trip is closer and what’s not to love about that? Personally, I know I’m going to pack at the last minute and then pack, unpack, and repack multiple times. We've put our struggles into constructive advice to make your trip a little easier!
Josiah is a student at Anne Arundel Community College (just a hop and a skip from Global Experiences' headquarters in Annapolis!) studying visual performing arts. He's part Irish, so he was thrilled to land a theater internship in Dublin, the perfect culmination of all his years of vocal and acting training. Besides exploring his heritage with trips to the Cliffs of Moher and the Guinness Factory, Josiah also found time to jet over to Paris, Morocco and London. That's making the most of a first trip abroad!
Whether you’re in the beginning stages or the final stages of getting ready to intern abroad, at some point you’re going to want your parents support and input. Having done this for a while, we’re fully aware there are many different kinds of parents.
You’ve taken the first, and biggest, step and are thinking about an internship abroad. Good for you! This is one of the best, if not only, opportunities to travel, experience new things, new cultures, new people, AND help your future career!
We’re almost a month into our pioneer Stockholm summer internship program, and it’s a hit! (We knew that it would be, of course).
So you’ve graduated, CONGRATS! That’s a big deal! In 2015, it was reported by the US Census, that 1 in 3 people, only about 33%, reported a Bachelor’s Degree or higher. So, like I said before, CONGRATS!!
