London has a unique reputation as a center for global finance, fashion, and media, and the close ties between the United States and the United Kingdom continue to make it a top choice for interns from US colleges and universities. Interns are rarely disappointed by the combination of meaningful and exciting internship experiences and a thriving, multicultural city with easy access to weekends in continental Europe and the Mediterranean. In its seemingly endless neighborhoods and districts, you can walk past iconic buildings, hear hundreds of different languages spoken on the streets, and enjoy authentic cuisine from the far reaches of the globe. Many of our participants are so enamored by London that they return for work or graduate study after program completion.Since London is a sprawling metropolis, our interns get used to navigating the city using the extensive public transport system. Commutes to work can vary from a 10 minute walk to a one hour tube ride, typical to most Londoners as well. Intern housing is always in student residences located in Zones 1-2, so home is also close to fun for evenings and weekends.

Each visa type has its own costs associated.
Once on the ground, interns will join a select London internship program that provides just the right amount of group and individual support through cultural and social programming, networking opportunities, and career development. Our location-based staff live permanently in the city and provide an insider-level connection to the culture, events, what’s hot and what’s not, as well as 24/7 emergency support. During the summer, we have Resident Assistants that join us from our large alumni community and provide mentoring and pastoral care throughout the program.
