Testimonial: "My internship, along with my social and cultural experiences outside the office, helped me realize the great extent of my independence and abilities. It allowed me to learn more about myself and develop better confidence. I think employment abroad on a resume will impress any future employer for all the skills and personal experiences I have builded on. I wish I were able to stay longer! "

    Name: Alex
    Company: George Washington University
    Field: Human Resources

Testimonial: "Global Experiences’ Dublin program was an incredible opportunity to accomplish two great things at once: I had always wanted to reconnect with my Irish roots, and I had been meaning to do a Human Resources internship. I was able to do both through the 8 week program, where I acquired invaluable knowledge with a real Irish company during the week, and travelled throughout the country and the region with other GE interns during the weekends. I was able to experience the “real Ireland” living with a family just outside the city of Dublin and commuting to work every day. The skills I developed working in my HR consulting firm have proven to be the most work important experience to date, and got me my current job. From the pub life to the natural beauty of the countryside, Ireland is an incredible place, and Global Experiences helped me immerse myself in the culture, and get a fantastic internship."

    Name: Colleen
    Company: University of Wisconsin Madison
    Field: Government/Politics

Testimonial: "Global Experiences provided me with an excellent opportunity to learn about Irish culture by working and living in Dublin. I gained valuable work experience through my internship with an international development NGO, which encouraged me to pursue a Masters in Diplomacy and International Relations. Living with a host family in a suburb of Dublin gave me the chance to become familiar with the city, culture and people in a way that many visitors never do. Using weekends to explore the beautiful and historically rich countryside of Ireland was an added bonus to an already incredible experience!"

    Name: Allison
    Company: Saint Cloud State University

Testimonial: "Living and working in Dublin, Ireland, was a great learning experience for me. The people are fantastic and the country side is even more beautiful than the pictures. I worked as a graphic designer and I learned an incredible amount from my co-workers. I still e-mail them today to bounce off creative ideas or ask them questions about our field. My own personal strength was challenged, and ultimately I've learned that it takes perseverance, in any walk of life, to be successful. I am currently working as a graphic designer in Minnesota, and I can say that my internship had a large influence on being hired over my competition. It shows drive and self-motivation to live and intern abroad."

    Name: Christine
