I absolutely loved my time in Florence. I couldn't ask for a better experience. I learned so much from interning abroad. I was given freedom to use what I already knew all the while being encouraged to ask for help. Not only was my internship a great learning experience, but I had the best social experience as well. I loved how Global experiences set you up and help you immerse yourself with new people from all over the world. I had a great experience and was so thankful for it. International Internship opportunities are available to Ole Miss students across all majors, and can be credit bearing.
Travel and work in one of these incredible global cities: London, Barcelona, Sydney, Milan, Florence, Dublin, Paris, Stockholm, San José, NYC, and Washington DC!
Summer programs are 8-10 weeks and semester programs are 12-15 weeks depending on location. Language proficiency is not required and in some non-English speaking locations language courses are part of the program. Students participate in a Career Development Program and are matched individually to an internship approved by the Study Abroad office and relevant faculty.

I had a fashion internship while abroad and GE worked to their greatest extent to place me in an environment that catered to my specifications. I learned, grew, and was challenged throughout the summer and ultimately gained new insight on the industry and the detailed components of running your own company. Join this program and have the time of your life in Milan. It will grow you, work you, and open up your eyes to all the amazing possibilities that lie ahead. I promise you won't regret a single bit.

Through this trip, I not only gained professional experience that will benefit me in my future career, but I also gained a lot of strength and reminded myself that I can do anything despite being in a wheelchair. Had I not went through with Global Experiences, I would not have seen Harry Potter and The Cursed Child, watched Wimbledon and met the winners of the Mens Wheelchair Doubles, or taken a day trip to see Stonehenge and Bath. For anyone thinking of going through with Global Experiences, do it. You will have an experience of a lifetime.

This past summer I interned abroad in Dublin Ireland. I had an amazing experience and I would recommend going though global experiences. They were not only helpful but they truly care about each an every intern making sure that they are having the best experience possible. They check up on you twice throughout the summer that I interned. They even took us on weekend adventures throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland. You also get an advisor who you can always go to. The housing was great with maid service every single day! They teach you your strengths and help guid you to your perfect internship. I love this program and couldn't have asked for a better internship.
