This nonpartisan political magazine educates, informs, entertains and connects all those who touch politics, from high-profile players to political junkies and casual observers. The magazine is published monthly, and they are seeking interns in a variety of areas including marketing and events. Such events and seminars have been held since 1983 and featured political professionals, candidates, political junkies and all those involved in campaigns; attendees come from all over the United States and, in recent years, have also come from Canada, Europe, Africa, Australia, Latin America and even Mongolia.
Ideal Candidate: Candidates must be motivated, detail-oriented, responsible and energetic. Interns should be comfortable with Microsoft Office, social media and communications.
At its office near the Kennedy Center in Washington, this organization offers internships around the year to outstanding university students. Full time interns work between 35 and 40 hours a week.
