From a Global Experiences survey, statistics show that alumni of the GE program found full time jobs within 2 months of graduation while those without international experience took 6 months to find a full time career. Take a step towards bettering your future!

Social Work students have the option to complete their Senior Social Work Field Placement in London or Dublin. If a Social Work student is going for general internship credit and not for their required capstone senior fields placement, they can go to any site that GE feels fits their professional goals.

Ready to set yourself apart to future employers looking for recent grads with more then just a degree? Take study abroad to the next level and consider a full-time internship abroad in one of our 12 cities around the world.
Opportunities are available to students across all majors, and can be credit bearing.
Summer programs are 8 – 10 weeks and semester programs are 12 – 15 weeks depending on location. Language proficiency is not required and in some non-English speaking locations language courses are part of the program. Students participate in a Career Development Program and are matched individually to an internship approved by the Study Abroad office and relevant faculty.
