Fairfield students can also study abroad at a Fairfield Center in Florence, Italy; Sydney, Australia; or Barcelona, Spain and enroll in a part-time internship with Global Experiences. Ask us about it using the contact information below!

There is no better way to gain first-hand career experience then with an international internship. Position yourself above your peers and gain the skills employers are looking for with the Global Experiences Internship Program through Fairfield University.
Opportunities are available to students across all majors, and can be credit bearing. Students can add a 3 credit part time internship to the Fairfield Florence, Sydney, or Barcelona programs, or intern abroad full time in the summer.
Full time summer programs are 8 weeks and semester programs are 12 – 15 weeks depending on location. Part time internships during a Fairfield Center semester will last for the duration of the term. Language proficiency is not required and in some non-English speaking locations language courses are part of the program. Students participate in a Career Development Program and are matched individually to an internship approved by the Study Abroad office and relevant faculty.
