Our unique program includes 2 or 4 weeks (your preference) of small group Spanish Language training in San Jose followed by our internationally recognized 4 week TESOL Certificate course in Manuel Antonio for a total of 6 or 8 weeks. The combination of courses is designed to expose you to the best that Costa Rican culture has to offer and will provide you with the tools necessary to become an active participant and not just a tourist.

The Spanish language portion of the program consists of 20 hours per week of customized Spanish lessons in the most highly recognized language school in San Jose . Your accommodation will be with a local family and includes 2 meals per day. The nation’s thriving capital city of San Jose is an excellent place to begin your Costa Rica experience with active volcanoes, hot springs, waterfalls and tropical forests only a short bus ride away. A full-day adventure excursion is also included in this part of the program.

At the completion of your language training, you will travel along the coast to Quepos/Manuel Antonio. This beach town is nothing short of paradise. Here you will complete our world-renowned TESOL Certificate course and begin your new life as an English teacher. With 120+ hours of classroom instruction and 9 hours of observed teaching practice, you will be more than qualified to secure a teaching position in Costa Rica or to enter the international marketplace within or beyond Central America.
