Learn Italian in the picturesque coastal town of Sorrento with our intensive Italian language training program. Participants will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in both the language and culture of Italy while enjoying the many sites of Sorrento and the surrounding area, including Pompeii, the Amalfi Coast and Naples.

Each program participant will receive full time intensive Italian language training at our language school in the seaside town of Sorrento which is recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education. Students are instructed in group settings at varying levels. In addition to a diverse curriculum using various educational materials and texts, students can take advantage of the opportunity to practice their language skills with native Italian students enrolled in foreign language courses at this institution.

Included in the program are 80 group lessons plus 10 individual lessons per month. Classes meet Monday through Friday. There are 6levels of language training ranging from absolute beginner to advanced. All classes are in instructed in group settings of no more than 12 students per class, and you will be placed into the class that best suits your abilities in Italian based on a simple test given when you first arrive.

The best way to learn a foreign language is through immersion; therefore, when you study Italian in Italy you can expect that all classes will be conducted only in Italian. If you have any difficulties with the topics covered in class and need extra help please make sure you speak to your teacher.

If you choose to use accommodation through our program, it will be in a single bedroom in a homestay and breakfast is included. The accommodations are either within walking distance or require a short bus ride to the school.

Exact details of the apartment will be sent to you a minimum of 2 weeks before you arrive. You accommodation will be available on the Sunday before the program start date.
