Our language training program in Rome fully immerses you in the language from the time you arrive at our school. This internationally recognized institution specializes in the teaching of Italian language and culture to foreigners and is authorized by the Italian Ministry of Education and is a member of The Association of Schools of Italian as a Second Language (ASILS). In addition, the school offers excellent facilities in a stylish turn of the century building with spacious classrooms and a terrace where students can meet and socialize during breaks.

Included in the program are 20 group lessons plus 2 individual lessons per week. Classes meet Monday through Friday (please note during certain times of the year, classes will be held on Saturdays as well). There are 9 levels of Italian taught, and courses are available for every level from absolute beginner to advanced levels. Classes are instructed in group settings limited to a maximum of 10-13 students. You will be placed into the class that best suits your abilities in Italian based on a simple test given when you first arrive.

The best method of learning a foreign language is through immersion. When you study Italian in Italy you can expect that all classes will be conducted only in Italian. If you have any problems with the topics covered in class and need extra help please make sure you speak to your teacher.

Accommodation in Rome is in a single room in a modified home-stay with the landlord (usually a couple or older woman) for no extra price; or in a single room in a shared apartment with Roman students and/or young Italian professionals (100 euro extra per month; please allow at least 90 days prior to your start date). The apartments are either within walking distance or require a short bus ride to the school.

Exact details of the apartment will be sent to you a minimum of 2 weeks before you arrive. Your accommodation will be available on the Sunday before the program start date.
