 Our Italian language training programs are designed to provide not only a language experience but a full cultural immersion experience as well. Choose between Florence, Rome, Milan, Sorrento, Siena or Verona.

Italian Language Training
 Each program includes full time intensive Italian language training in a group environment with Global Experiences' program participants and other students who are also attending the language school. These fully accredited courses are provided by six of the top Italian Language training institutions in Italy. Though many of those who enroll are from the US, participants are from a wealth of other countries around the world, thus providing you an even greater multi-cultural experience.
All levels of Italian training are available and your language skills will be assessed in the first week of your program so you are placed in the level most applicable to your abilities.
All participants will be issued with a certificate for their Italian class that can then be used to assist with gaining university credits. We can help facilitate university credit with you so please inquire with our staff.
Program Fees & Start Dates
Program start dates are generally available each month and on a year round basis, though we ask that you please consult our Program Coordinator to discuss the timing and placement options available to you for the time frame in which you are interested. Global Experiences participants can receive independent study course credit through our university affiliate, Eastern Washington University (EWU). These courses are designed to allow for independent study and require you to delve deeper into your international experience through a series of written observations and academic journals during your time abroad. Upon completion, credits may then be transferred to your university or college.

Please note, depending on your program location, you may be required to pay an additional transcript fee of 50 Euro. This nominal fee covers the extra program monitoring and official transcript preparation required for presentation to your university faculty advisor.
Obtaining Visas
For most nationalities, visas are not necessary for programs of 3 months or less. Programs longer than 3 months require a student visa. For American students obtaining study visas for Italy, please keep in mind that the application process is not always a simple one and visa requirements vary depending on your state of residency. If you are an American student interested in a program longer than 3 months please discuss the details of the Italian visa system with a program coordinator. If you are an applicant from another English speaking country such as Australia, Canada, New Zealand or South Africa there are fewer conditions required for obtaining a student visa. Applicants from other countries should inquire with our program coordinators directly to determine the visa considerations for their situation.
