NYC-709: This gallery is a small, vibrant art gallery that sells new works by rising stars in contemporary art. The owner’s mission is to champion emerging artists and also manifests itself in their unprecedented apprenticeship program that nurtures tomorrow’s curators and gallerists. The selected intern will assist the gallery’s Operations Manager in learning how to represent the gallery; from liaising with artists, to gaining superior customer relations skills, to the financial/sales side. REQUIREMENTS: Strong interpersonal and meticulous organizational skills, background in art history, and desire for a career in gallery ownership or management.
