Start Dates:
Program start dates are available every month throughout the year (except during the month of August). We do ask that you please consult our Program Coordinator to discuss the timing and placement options available to you for the time frame in which you are interested. Accommodation:
Accommodation in Rome is in a single room in a modified home-stay with the landlord (usually a couple or older woman) for no extra price; or in a single room in a shared apartment with Roman students and/or young Italian professionals (100 euro extra per month; please allow at least 90 days prior to your start date). Apartments have a kitchen and bathroom and all household amenities are provided for you. You only need to bring a towel and personal items. How We Choose Your Internship Placement
Your level of Italian proficiency. You must have an intermediate to advanced level of Italian for this program. You must be ready to speak, read, write, etc. the language from your first day of internship. We encourage you to prepare as much as you can before leaving for Rome.
Your past relevant experience and study. Some placements do not require any past experience but many require some formal training, university level study or previous professional experience.
