Global Experiences is pleased to offer 2 and 3 month internships in Florence for those who have an intermediate to advanced knowledge of the Italian language and are also Citizens of EU or working holiday visa countries (Australia and New Zealand). US and Canadian Citizens are not eligible for this program due to visa restrictions. Americans and Canadians require a study visa which is available when taking language training along with your internship.

 Program start dates are available every month throughout the year (except during the month of August). We do ask that you please consult our Program Coordinator to discuss the timing and placement options available to you for the time frame in which you are interested.

How We Choose Your Internship Placement
- Your level of Italian proficiency. You must have an intermediate to advanced level of Italian for this program. You must be ready to speak, read, write, etc. the language from your first day of internship. We encourage you to prepare as much as you can before leaving for Florence.
- Your past relevant experience and study. Some placements do not require any past experience but many require some formal training, university level study or previous professional experience.
- The experience you wish to gain from your internship as described in your application form. Please be honest and specific with this section of the application
