Global Experiences belong to and actively participating in the following academic and professional member organizations focused on issues related to international edcuation.
NAFSA - Association of International Educators
NAFSA is the world's largest member organization promoting international education. Global Experiences has been a member of NAFSA since 2004 and has been exhibiting at the national and regional conferences since 2005. We actively participate in the Work, Internships, Volunteer Abroad (WIVA) subcommittee in a continuing effort to establish and maintain best practices for experiential education programs abroad. One of our founders, Stephen Reilly, chaired a panel session at NAFSA 2009 in Los Angeles titled "Experiential Education: Considerations for Third-Party Provider Relationships".
NSEE - National Society for Experiential Education
NSEE is a nonprofit membership association of educators, businesses, and community leaders. Founded in 1971, NSEE also serves as a national resource center for the development and improvement of experiential education programs. Global Experiences has been a member of NSEE since 2008.
NACE - National Association of Colleges and Employers
NACE is the leading source of information on the employment of the college educated. The professional association connects more than 5,200 college career services professionals at nearly 2,000 college and universities nationwide, and more than 3,000 HR/staffing professionals focused on college relations and recruiting. Global Experiences will be presenting a panel session at the NACE 2010 conference.
