I don't have enough good things to say about the firm and the people there. They were all very friendly, patient, and willing to help me acclimate to the firm and to Dublin in general. Thanks again for helping me find that firm."

      Hofstra University Law School
      Sydney

“My internship was amazing. Words couldn't even begin to capture what a life changing experience it was. The legal experience was awesome, but the best part was by far growing up and maturing as an adult. It was such a great learning experience and it was just fantastic to be on my own away from constant emails, phone calls and texts and be able to just enjoy life. I met so many wonderful people and made some great long lasting connections. It may have cost me a bit in loans but it was worth every penny. I think about it every day and miss so many things about it. The experience definitely changed my life for the better! I should thank you profusely for suggesting I go [to Sydney]. The best thing I ever did was take your advice! So thank you for everything, it really made all the difference and impacted my life in such an indescribable and positive way!”

      Scott
      Hofstra University Law School
      Barcelona

Being in Spain was an amazing way to spend my summer and I cannot thank you enough for everything that you did. It was truly a valuable experience and will definitely benefit me in my future aspirations to become a legal professional.

      Robert
      Université de Moncton
      Paris

“The internship in Paris that Global Experiences provided me was excellent in every way. First, the application process was thorough in making sure that I would be placed in a situation where I could achieve my goals, and the subsequent pre-trip assistance was very helpful. The host family, where I was accommodated, was welcoming and inclusive, and the location of their apartment in the heart of the city made it easy to get around. The two-week language course, prior to the internship placement, enabled me to renew my command of the French language, as well as become accustomed to the Parisian accent. In addition, it was great during that time, to be able to get to know the other North American program participants, which led to later getting together on a regular basis to sightsee and to socialize. The provided cell phone helped us all keep in touch. Last but not least, the actual intern placement met all my expectations. Having completed my first year of law (in Canada, law is a post-graduate degree), I was anxious to gain experience working in a law firm and to do it in French (Canada is a bilingual country). All in all, it was a tremendous learning experience for me, living in Paris, immersing myself in the culture, and doing meaningful work in my chosen profession. Thank you Global Experiences.”

      Kristen
      Columbia University
      Florence

"As a legal intern, I was responsible for researching new legal issues as well as following up on old transactions. I managed communications between a Luxembourg Holding Company and its New York contacts regarding real property matters. I also had the opportunity [to] meet with clients and explain legal findings regarding my research. At times, I provided translations for clients who did not speak Italian. My assignments were always very interesting and challenging and with each new assignment, I learned more about international legal transactions. Choosing an internship with Global Experiences gave me more options within my legal career by providing me with the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in an international legal setting, and the ability to perfect my Italian language skills."

      Isabel
      Georgetown University
      Milan

"Global Experiences’ Language + Internship program gave me the opportunity to meet amazing individuals from all over the world with whom I was able to practice and improve my Italian language skills and at the same time create great friendships. I also experienced what it is like to be part of the Italian professional world, which provided me with incomparable knowledge and skills.”

      Sam
      University of California, Berkeley
      Paris

"I believe I can speak for [all of the interns] in Paris that this experience is one-of-a-kind. None of us could have found these internships by other means. I couldn't have asked for a better opportunity for an internship this summer...I already feel [like] a part of the team at their law firm and have learned so much about various legal practices and the French legal system...Thank you for finding this job for me and helping to make this the most unforgettable summer of my life."
