Testimonials about Architecture

Caroline
University of Colorado - Boulder

"I think only through a program like this was [it] possible to find a perfect little studio like this. I loved that it was not a huge company where I was doing unnecessary busy-work. It was only 6 of us in the office and I felt like I was truly contributing to the projects that were being worked on and that I was learning more every day. Since [Italy] is indeed one of the most prominent countries for design, I believe that I am ahead of many since I have been able to learn and see things that have truly expanded my horizons and creativity levels."

"My experience abroad has given me the necessary skills and attitudes to compete and be successful in the global market. It has prepared me in a different language and working atmosphere and ethics, and it has shown me a whole new world of possibilities and opportunities."

“When I think back on this past summer in Italy, I realize that it wasn't just the internship or living in the city, but also the little things that played such a significant part in making the experience so unforgettable. Whether it was having a cappuccino with a chocolate croissant every Saturday morning, spending all day at the language school laughing with my teacher and classmates, riding through the city to construction sites on my boss' motorino, coming home to my host mom’s fresh cooked spaghetti with pesto, or going on day trips to the coast, surrounding cities, or the beautiful north-Italian lakes, I was constantly surprised and amazed by Italy's excitingly unique culture and lifestyle.”
