Hogwarts! Here I come!

And I’m off to Hogwarts!!!

Conveniently my flat is approximately only a 5 minute walk from King’s Cross Station. Some of you loyal Harry Potter fans will recognize that right away, and for the rest of you… I’m not going to go there.

There is a TON of construction going on in London right now because they are preparing for the Olympics! It makes it a little more difficult to find my way around and operate this “tube.” (The underground public transportation system) It seems simple enough, but tomorrow my true challenge awaits me, as I have to navigate on my own to get to work. I have about a 40 minute commute… but that seems like nothing comparing it to what I was commuting in LA.

Speaking of commuting… We went to East Side Market today as a group! Had some of the most amazing deals plus lots and lots of clothes! I wanted to buy everything! Luckily, I came prepared to shop… so I didn’t have to phone home for money. It all seemed so cheap… until I did the conversion.. then figured out it was about average. That isn’t stopping me though! I am planning on returning and blowing some pounds! And mom and dad… Don’t worry! London warns you when you are in danger… For example: Theft. There were signs everywhere.
