And that ‘WOW” goes to A LOT of things!
First, it’s the last few DAYS. I honestly don’t know where the time went. I gues I just got caught up with everyday life in Dublin that I forgot it was still completely temporary. But, I’m not that sad I’m leaving Saturday only because I went in this whole experience with no expectations; just open to any and all possibilities. And now, two months later I’m leaving with no regrets. I did more than I ever thought I’d do this summer and I could not feel more accomplished. It’s been one heck of a journey!
Another WOW goes to the fact that this internship has blown me away! I have to admit, going into this internship I thought I wasn’t going to live up to my company’s expectations. I was so nervous they wouldn’t think I was good enough or that I’d be in the way but clearly that was 100% wrong as well. I’ve never felt more appreciated to just be around and learn all about someone else’s main line of work and I’ve felt so welcomed. My supervisors are always making sure I’m doing well and I’m getting the most during my time here. This internship may go down as the best one I’ll ever have. I only hope my actual career tops this internship because if not, I’m not going to be the happiest camper.
And, of course, the other WOW goes to this amazing opportunity Global Experiences presented to me. I would be absolutely honored to become a PSU Campus Ambassador for GE and I really want to thank everyone.
I’ve sort of been preparing myself for future internships over the past few months and already have ideas in mind of where I’d like to apply. I’ve always dreamed of working in NYC and think I will take this experience and use it to apply for internships there.
Geez, growing up isn’t easy!

I’m going to school for Communications, Humanities, and English Writing. Seeing this has made me even more excited for my GE internship to Dublin this coming Summer 2012. I’m anxiously waiting to hear where I’ll be interning at, but from what you said, it looks like wherever I’m placed that it’ll be great. ^_^ Wish you luck in getting NYC internships!
