Global Experiences Alumnus, Caroline, describes her Global Experiences internship in Milan, Italy.
“When I think back on this past summer in Italy, I realize that it wasn’t just the internship or living in the city, but also the little things that played such a significant part in making the experience so unforgettable.
Whether it was having a cappuccino with a chocolate croissant every saturday morning, spending all day at the language school laughing with my teacher and classmates, riding through the city to construction sites on my boss’ motorino, coming home to my hostmom’s fresh cooked spaghetti with pesto, or going on day trips to the coast, surrounding cities, or the beautiful north-italian lakes, I was constantly surprised and amazed by Italy’s excitingly unique culture and lifestyle.”
