More U.S. Students Going Global

According to Open Doors 2006, the annual report on international education published by the Institute of International Education, U.S. students are studying abroad in record numbers, reaching over 200,000 students, an increase of 8% over the previous year's report.

The 2006 report also shows that "junior year abroad" is quickly becoming a thing of the past with more students seeking short-term international experiences.

The top 5 study abroad destinations for U.S. students are the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, France, Australia. Global Experiences is proud to offer professional internships for students and graduates in each of these locations.
