Working Together

Global Experiences has a flexible approach to institutional relationships. Each institution is unique in its needs and we aim to cater to each individual institution and its students. Of course we like to begin by having a preliminary discussion (usually over the telephone), but we realize your schedules are often hectic and often don't allow the time. This page is designed to help provide further information about how we could work together and what we are already doing to help universities, colleges, and trade schools provide unique internship experiences to their students.

Program Ownership

Your institution can offer its own proprietary internship program using Global Experiences as the program provider. In this case, we will work with you on customizing the necessary components and program features while the program remains under the exclusive banner of your institution.

Program Collaboration

We will work with academic departments, individual faculty members, study abroad offices, career services, or other departments to customize an internship program to the specific academic areas of focus for individuals or groups of students. Unlike some providers, we do not require minimum numbers of students for our programs.

Program Extension

Global Experiences internships may also be coupled with your institution’s existing study abroad programs to extend a practical work component to the classroom experience. Given its position in the study abroad community Global Experiences can even offer partnership opportunities for recruitment of students into your existing study abroad programs.

Office Extension

We understand the demands placed on study abroad programs and career centers, and we recognize that sometimes it may be difficult to accommodate every student as well as you would like. Do you have students approaching you for programs you do not or cannot offer, or even take the time to look into on their behalf? Our consultants are available to assist you in creating customized internships or to offer our standard programs while providing the support necessary to field questions directly from students and their parents.

Promotional and Published Materials

Brochures and flyers for your study abroad, career services, or other offices are available upon request, which provide information for students to better understand our programs and whether they are a good fit for them. We also have published articles, blogs, and other media to learn more about Global Experiences.

Please feel free to contact us at or (410) 267-7306 if you have any questions about how your institution could benefit from working together.
